Accessibility equipment
If you are limited in your mobility, you can obtain information on our website about the barrier-free equipment of the individual station tracks. To do so, select your desired station on the homepage of bahnhof.de. We will then show you a list of the equipment features available there on the respective station overview page under ‘Accessibility equipment’.
Support services
Do you need help getting on, changing trains, or getting off the train, for example because you have a visual impairment, depend on a wheelchair, or are traveling with a stroller? We will be happy to help you.
Mobility service
We offer personal assistance with getting on, changing trains and getting off trains throughout local and long-distance transportation. The Mobility Service organizes everything necessary for this.
Please contact the mobility service at 030 65212888 (local rate) or by e-mail at msz@deutschebahn.com. Our colleagues are available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Bahnhofsmission
The Bahnhofsmission offers advice and information in emergency situations and refers people to specialized agencies for further assistance. It also looks after children traveling alone and mobility-impaired travelers. The website bahnhofsmission.de provides an overview of all station missions in Germany and the services they offer.
Parking
Parking facilities for your car are available at many train stations from various providers. People with a physical disability – or their companions – may park a car free of charge for up to 24 hours at unrestricted parking facilities operated by DB BahnPark GmbH. The prerequisite for this is the blue or orange special parking permit valid throughout Europe ("parking permit for disabled persons’). In the German state of Bavaria, the dark blue official parking permit is also recognized. The authorized person does not have to drive the car himself, but must be personally transported in the vehicle. Please place your special parking permit in a clearly visible position behind the windshield of your car instead of a parking ticket.
