With WIFI@DB, Deutsche Bahn offers free WiFi at many stations. It's so easy for users to access the Internet:

  1. Activate WiFi on the device and select "WIFI@DB" as the network.
  2. The start page of WIFI@DB will then open automatically.
  3. After confirming the general terms and conditions and the privacy policy, click on "Surf for free now" and off you go!

In addition to WIFI@DB, WiFi is offered by partner companies in two regions.

MobyKlick

MobyKlick's free WiFi is available at numerous stations in the greater Hamburg area. This is how interested parties log in:

  1. Activate WiFi on the device and select "MobyKlick" as the network.
  2. The MobyKlick start page will then open automatically.
  3. After confirming the general terms and conditions, click on "Go online" and "Surf now" to access the Internet.

For questions and feedback, MobyKlick offers users a contact form. MobyKlick is provided by two telecommunications providers – wilhelm.tel and willy.tel. Wilhelm.tel offers a free service hotline from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00 on 0800 4324324. Willy.tel is available around the clock free of charge on 0800 3334499.

RMV_WLAN

In Hesse, the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund offers free Internet access at various stations with RMV_WLAN. The following steps are required to log in:

  1. Activate WiFi on the device and select the "RMV_WLAN" network.
  2. The RMV_WLAN start page opens automatically.
  3. After confirming the general terms and conditions, click on "Go online" to start the Internet connection.

Do all stations offer free WiFi?

Free WiFi is currently offered at around 600 stations. Availability depends on the location and can be determined via the relevant station details page on the bahnhof.de website. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Call up the station search from bahnhof.de and enter the desired station.
  2. Look on the station details page to see if there is information about WiFi on one of the tiles under the "At the station" category. If no WiFi information is displayed for the respective station, then WiFi is not offered at the station.

Over the next five years, a further 800 stations are to be equipped with free WiFi, including many smaller stations.

Is registration required to use the WiFi at the station?

No registration is required to use the WiFi. However, the general terms and conditions and the privacy policy must usually be accepted in order to connect to the Internet at the station.

  3. Click on the red "Surf now for free" button to accept the general terms and conditions and get started.
