The DB Lounge is easy to find at München Hauptbahnhof, which is well signposted. It is located on the cross platform above the lockers on the first floor. The way there is via a lift, escalator or stairs. Once at the top, travellers pass through a glass door to the Premium Lounge and the Comfort Lounge.

The DB Lounge at München Hauptbahnhof offers a Comfort and a Premium Lounge. Both lounges offer a relaxation, work and bistro zone. All rooms are flooded with light, stylishly lit and offer furnishings in a contemporary design. Monitors provide information about upcoming departures and flat screens display the latest news. There are magazines on shelves for free use. Both lounges offer modern washrooms with toilets.

In the Comfort Lounge, travellers can take a seat at various tables, on upholstered bucket seats or benches. They can charge their devices at numerous power sockets. They can make undisturbed calls in telephone booths. In the work area, an elongated high table with seat shell stools and a privacy screen running down the centre ensures working comfort.

The Premium Lounge is larger and more exclusive. Wing chairs are spaced generously around the room to provide privacy for switching off. Guests in the Premium Lounge will find a bistro area with a large counter and bar stools. A self-service buffet with snacks and a barista service await them there.

Who has access to the DB Lounge?

A general ticket requirement applies in the DB Lounges (daily ticket for Deutsche Bahn long-distance transport). Tickets are checked at reception using a scanner or by the lounge staff. The ticket or the code from the BahnBonus app is required for this.

Access to the DB Lounges is granted to BahnBonus status customers and one person accompanying them, BahnCard 100 1st class holders and one person accompanying them as well as travellers with a daily DB long-distance 1st class ticket at the Flex fare. BahnBonus status customers and accompanying persons also require a valid ticket that entitles them to use Deutsche Bahn's long-distance services on a daily basis.

Access to the premium areas of the DB Lounges at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, München Hauptbahnhof, Köln Hauptbahnhof, Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof is restricted to status customers with a valid Platinum status level in conjunction with a DB long-distance ticket, holders of a 1st class BahnCard 100 and travellers with a 1st class long-distance ticket at the Flex fare (except for tickets with departure and destination within the areas of the respective transport associations).

There is a free self-service counter in the bistro area of the Comfort Lounge. Cold, non-alcoholic drinks such as water, soda, Coca Cola, Coca Cola Zero, Fanta and Sprite are available from taps. Hot drinks such as coffee specialities, cocoa and hot water for tea are available from a vending machine at the touch of a button.

In the Premium Lounge, guests can enjoy cold snacks such as fresh fruit, nuts, pretzels and cakes at the large counter in the bistro area. Those who wish can take a seat on one of the bar stools and enjoy the barista service. Cold, hot, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as hot and cold snacks are also served here.

The range of cold drinks in the Premium Lounge includes water, apple spritzer, Coca Cola, Coca Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, orange juice, organic lemonade and Fuze Tea lemon. Beer, red and white wine and sparkling wine are also available. Hot drinks include various types of coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Croissants with butter, honey, jam or Nutella are offered for breakfast. From 11:00, travellers can fortify themselves with a choice of hot snacks. Wraps, paninis and cakes are also served.
