We want to make the combination of cycling and rail even more comfortable and convenient for you. At the same time, we want to actively promote the decarbonisation of transport. To this end, we are continuously expanding the range of bicycle services at our stations. Many stations already offer a wide range of bicycle-related services.
Bicycle spaces
You will find bicycle spaces at numerous stations. In recent years, 18,841 parking spaces have already been created at our stations in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and a further 55,000 have been planned for the future. Use our station search to find out whether and how you can park your bike at the selected station. In the Mobility section of the respective station page you will find – if available – further information on bicycle parking facilities.
Bicycle service stations
You have a small breakdown on the way to the station? No problem. At selected stations, you can get your bike back in shape at bicycle service stations. Whether it’s minor repairs or pumping up the tyres - the bike repair pillars will help you to get mobile again quickly.
DB Radfix
We also have good news for all those who prefer to have their bike repaired by an expert. With DB Radfix, you can have your bike repaired quickly at the station while you are travelling by train. It's completely relaxed, with no waiting times when dropping off or picking up your bike. We already offer this professional bicycle repair service at the stations Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, Berlin Südkreuz, Freiburg (Breisgau) Hauptbahnhof and Hamburg-Bergedorf. Bike repairs and servicing can now be conveniently booked online. The bike can be parked at the relevant station in the morning and picked up repaired in the evening.
DB Rad+
Furthermore, cycling is literally rewarded in various cities and municipalities with the DB Rad+ app. With the app, kilometres cycled in the campaign areas can be collected and exchanged for attractive rewards and discounts at local partners or digitally. DB Radverleih
With our new bike rental service DB Radverleih and our cooperation partner ListNRide, you can also leave your bike at home. At selected locations, we work with local rental companies near the station to offer you the perfect bike trip. Whether touring bike, mountain bike, e-bike, children’s bike or cargo bike: you can book your bike with just a few clicks. Discover the wide range of high-quality rental bikes and secure your perfect bike for a comfortable journey on the train and maximum riding fun.
Finally, here’s a hint for those who are currently missing cycling services at their station: we are already working intensively with our partners and local authorities to expand the service offer at other stations.
