Are there enough bicycle parking spaces at train stations? Are they well positioned? What condition are they in? These are just some of the questions we are looking for answers to.
Together with the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, we want to build more than 1.5 million bicycle parking spaces at our roughly 5,400 stations in Germany to make traveling by train and bike more convenient. Until the end of 2023, federal states and municipalities can apply for federal funding totaling 657 million euros from the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport for cycling projects on site.
